Actually that is quite ironic.

I don't really get the punchline, is working on hollyoaks that bad or is it being asked.

I would love to be asked to work on hollyoaks, no acting ability required although you do have to look good, which also why I didn't really understand you sketch.

I think the idea is that being in Hollyoaks means you're lower than a prostitute.

(How low can you get?)

Hoskinator, from what you say ('no acting ability required although you do have to look good'), I think you do understand the sketch even if you think you don't.

Here's what it's about anyway. Some people say Hollyoaks is very low-grade TV and just an excuse to have a lot of sexually attractive young men and women parading around on screen. The only reason they say things to each other is to give the illusion of TV drama.

What really prompted me to write this sketch is a recent remark by a well-known young actress that 'All the girls on Hollyoaks dress like prostitutes'.
