I don't really follow the game, but I do own a New York Rangers jersey, which I bought back in '94, after they won their first Stanley Cup for over 50 years. New Yorkers have such a powerful influence on street fashion, that Hockey jersey's suddenly became popular all over the world back then, just because the Rangers were champions.
