I know you folks don't watch hockey but this was just so shocking what happened to Richard Zednik of the Florida Panthers last night. Don't watch if your faint of heart:

And I know you were kidding about him being a whip (and yes it was funny) but I thought i'd pull this from the article above:
When Zednik was with Montreal he sustained a severe concussion, broken nose, bruised throat and cut eyelid following a vicious blow to the face by Boston's Kyle McLaren during the 2002 playoffs. Zednik was knocked cold, had to be taken off the ice on a stretcher and spent the night in intensive care.

The only sports event I've ever attended was an ice hockey game. Quite good fun, considering.
Well then just imagine the same game but with grass instead of ice and a ball instead of a puck!
