If they were I'd pay to see it. Wheras the idea of going to a whole evening of male baiting has somewhat less of an appeal.

Have you read/ seen the VM? it's not even a bit like that.

But it's all women. So it must be about hating men. What else do women have to talk about??

(I haven't seen it. I think it is mostly about shouting the word 'c**t' and giggling...?)

That's only one of the monologues! I haven't seen it but I have the script book (whatever you would call it). It's great. A couple of bits made me do cries.

Valentine's Day confuses me. Greatly. Why do you need one day of the year to be romantic/express how romantic you supposedly are? Like anniversaries aren't really an issue for me either. But maybe I am just strange/wrong.

I don't really like it, but that's only because I've only ever had one 'mystery' card. And that's what the fun's all about, right?

Just had an offer for Valentine's Day from a bloke.

Not sure I'm going to take it though... he's in my phone under Dave Piggy.

Sad state of affairs when, come Valentine's Day, your best option is a date with a bloke called Dave Piggy.

:(

It was you wasn't it. Don't give us this friend shit. You have no friends. Except Stott and you built him in your evil Frankensteinesc lab situated just under the arches by the railway line.

I don't recall mentioning the word "friend", least of all in relation to Stott.

So, it's come back around again. I would have written what I've got Mr.JP on here (as it's a good gift) but now I know he reads this I can't put it up.

We're not spending it together - as he has to work... which is nice as it takes the pressure off then.

I feel the same about it. It's a holiday designed so that people who don't really like each other anymore but are too comfortable to leave can pretend for one day the spark is still there.

If you truly love someone, you don't need a specific day to suddenly do something romantic. If I was with someone who was into it, I would humour them if it was important but I wouldn't lose sleep over not getting a card.

I like anniversaries - it's nice to have a special day that you view as "yours" to do something special together - whether it be recreate a special night... or treat yourselves/do something new.

It's off putting though when they want to celebrate the six month anniversary of the first time you put your finger in their bum.

I thought it was sweet.
