I do go a bit mentalist trying to compensate for all the nasty buggers, I know. But I don't know what sets said buggers off...

And Extras is funny, and is clever, and that includes most of season 2.

I'm not too keen on the Gervais persona myself - it's getting a bit tired and irritating, hence threads like this - but I can't pretend to know him as a person. And as a creator of comedy, he doesn't owe me anything. Thanks, Ricky.*

Regarding oversenistivity, I assumed he meant you! And all the other apologists who can't wait to say that RG isn't a boastful twat, he's just pretending to be a boastful twat for comic effect - all though why this is desirable I don't know.
None of this has anything to do with his writing. Why people can't accept that RG is a good writer/performer, but an arrogant supercilious prat in reality i don't know.
