Script to screen productions

I came across the following site a couple of weeks ago...

http://www.scripttoscreenproductions.com/

...and it asks for script ideas so I sent a couple off and had feedback in a couple of days. OK, it was a negative but it was a good deal quicker than you normally get.

----

Thanks so much for your interest in our production company, however this material is not for us at this time. The first is far too similar to a project already in the works which is written by a life strategist/coach, and the other has too much of a Music and Lyrics feel to it for us.
I wish you great luck placing the material elsewhere, however and I thank you for taking the time to contact us.

----

May be worth a shot if you have something knocking around.

Cheers Tuumble.

That isn't such a bad piece of feedback. Its just unfortunate that they are already doing a similar one in the first case. Maybe send that off to someone else who isn't?

Thanks for posting that anyway.

Not to be shallow, but that is one butt ugly website.

Screenplay productions is one of the better production companies for feedback. They really opened my eyes about me last sitcom. When my next one's ready, they will be the first to see it. :)

Youre sure this isnt just American? It does seem a pretty cheap and shoddy website as well, which makes you a bit unsure about them.

Not gonna take a peek yourself then? :D

I'd be a bit wary about this company - it looks like the work of one person to me, I may be wrong but it screams bullshit.

That's not to say it's a con or they'd rip you off - but the only name on the whole website is Phyllis Jager, whose entire credits on IMDb are a 'thanks' on a film.

To me, this looks like a self-promotion exercise for one or two people; but you never know and even if it is a (very bad) attempt to appear professional, everyone has start somewhere and sometimes the bullshit works,

Thanks Tuumble. Could be useful.

Ha! Sometimes you've got to hold you hands up and say "you've got me there". Well done. For that you get a wave -> Wave
