Any other Y fans here, what did you make of episode 60? What did you thank about the sad death in 60?
Y the last man
YESSSSS! But I'm two books behind. This is the one comic book that has universal appeal. I've also used it in comparative essays for English and developmental classes and all of them ended up being A+ papers.
A good comic this, Ive read the first couple of collected together books, but thats about it. Think I heard they were making it into a film-? Certainly lends itself to that.
What the heck-a-roonie? This is a comic called "Y"?
Y the Last man, not a sequel to V for vendetta, arf arf!
Fab comic about the last man left alive in a world of women. Beautifully drawn, witty, clever, it's on the same level as Watchmen and I don't say that lightly believe me.
Damn you're all way behind! I can't talk about Yorrick getting Ampersand drunk and taking his monkey cherry.
Seriously though it rocks, and all you guys have got loads to look forward to.
Glad you can use it for English papers now, would have loved to have covered The Sandman in A level English.
I want to watch it now!
Read the comics the film will only depsoil them.
For those who have not read it but don't consider themselves comic book readers I'll say this: my fiancee who loves to read but disliked comics loved this book. It is a very smart comic with action, humor and a lot to walk away with and think about. My opinion the best book out there.
Shia Labeouf from Transformers, Disturbia and the upcomming Indiana Jones movie is rumored to be cast as Yorik (the main character). And the director and writer of Disturbia are named as director and writer of the movie. Very exciting.
Sorry for the rant, i'm a huge comic fan.
I love Shia.
