Agree Seefacts but the powers that be make their own rules as they go along. I wonder if it is a sham and that they just suss out the experienced writers under the guise that they are looking for any old new writer

Andy Harries is a big producer right? I thought he worked mostly in Drama.

He does yeah. It's not a clear cut approach mind.

I was dumb struck when he rang and it took me a while to compose myself. he really liked my work but couldn't use the script I'd sent in. I hadn't got another sitcom to hand as I was quite new to writing...I died after he rang off.
he was the head of Comedy at the time, I think it was ITV

He was the head of comedy at ITV and no I don't have a phone number now, it was about ten years ago that he phoned me :) I don't know where he is now
