Yes everyone could be sickos but more likely writing is about making sense of things and trying to understand evil - we all have the capacity to do bad to a certain extent - is one of the great themes. It's also more dramatic than "Sally Sunshine and her Fluffy Wuffy Bunny Tea Party"

A story about a single mother, guntoting, hoodie wearing, nigerian suicide bombing scammer; who drives a taxi and shoots anyone who votes and uses the tram. Sounds good.
