Beeb iPlayer/4OD users

I don't know if this is old news but on the off chance it might help someone out then I'll post it anyway.

If you have either the Beeb iPlayer or the 4OD thing and you've noticed your pc has become a bit laggy since installing, you might want to check this out.

They put a P2P program in your machine with neither your knowledge nor consent.
The proggy is called kserver.exe and it needs a number of things doing to stop it running.

I don't know if it mentions it on this site, but you should also go to start, run, type in 'msconfig', go to startup and uncheck it in there.

My computer started running really slowly after installing 4OD, so I thought it might be happening to someone else too.

I turn off all start up programs that aren't in the system32 file or aren't related to XP being able to run. But thanks for the heads up

Something else which is annoying, is people who say "fecking" instead of "f**king".

Very true. I hereby change all instances of "fecking" to "f**king".

Much more fun. What's a "feck" anyway? Sounds like some kind of farming tool.
