I've only had to do this once just wondering if any one else here has had any experiencing in pitching an idea. Now when I went to do it, the settings weren't ideal. It was the Cardiff film festival last year infront of a room full of people and I think I was second to last.
It didn’t go exactly how I planned it in my head, basically I choked. The problem was I needed to say so much in a small amount of time I'd written myself a script and memorised it exactly and some one before me used a similar joke so I thought I'll change it....that’s when things started coming undone...
Forgot the names and the plot, I blabbered on for 10 minutes randomly remembering funny things I'd written in my pitch and blurting them out, Overall view was "that was pretty random, and perhaps I should write a novel" which isn't as bad as I thought it'd be...Suffice to say I didn't win
