Quote: Mikey J @ August 19 2008, 12:16 PM BSTAh, I think sootyj mentioned once that, sometimes, they get a bit lazy and don't send out running orders.
Not lazy they're small team and the shows been running for years. So they have possibly hundreds of current or exwriters I'm sure it's very easy to miss people out.
They're usually quite responsive to the occaisonal e-mail.

Greetings to all you Sootyj haters
Quote: Mikey J @ August 18 2008, 8:24 AM BSTI'd better cancel that Caribbean holiday then.
Doesn't matter really about the low payments. It's still a start.
The best bit is that you get your stuff performed.Well, for the last four weeks, I've had an average of three sketches performed... except the first of those four weeks which only had one performed.
Does it go on size of sketch, or is there an ultra secret formula like Coca-Cola or Ovaltine?
Now that is a mystery. It's a share of the profits based on takings, writers to be paid, whether it's a song, sketch, part of a runner, voice over. If you're owed money from previous runs, the colour of the urine of the News Revue goat.
Basically if your worrying about that you may need a better paid fulltime job.
And that's not even including jointly credited stuff.
