Last email I got was last Tuesday, if that helps?
Presumably they'll be wanting to get material in for Edinburgh over the next week or two.

Last I heard was also last Tuesday.
I thought they'd have most of the Edinburgh show sorted by now, given that they asked for material a few weeks ago, started rehearsing last week and, this Thursday, start the two week preview in London.
I guess that they'll be after Edfest stuff on any new big stories that may last, and be starting getting material for the next London run (which I think they'll be putting together next week).
BTW from past experience, does anybody know how set the Edinburgh show is once the fringe starts? Do they still change V/Os during the run? Any changes to sketches if something big breaks?
Thanks both of you.
Hopefully you got an email (with the weekends running order and a handful of Ed requests) at about 21:30 last night.

And yet you remain words on the screen to me. Perhaps I'll see NewsRevue one day...

In my experience, the EdFest show is pretty set in stone once the fringe begins, but that's not to say they'd ask for short sketches or VOs for big breaking stories during August.

Anyone going? Wish I was.
Anyone got the latest list?
I've got an idea for a sketch but it's got no punchline at the moment. Just writing lots of dialogue and waiting for something to "happen" and then I can edit it down.
Quote: Chappers @ 28th July 2014, 10:14 PM BSTAnyone got the latest list?
I think the list a few posts back was the last one sent out.
AFAIK they haven't sent any out since they started the Ed preview shows - which means 3 weeks of performances haven't been sent out yet (unless I've miscounted and it's 4 weeks).

Do they do the usual one as well as the Edinburgh show?
Quote: Chappers @ 30th July 2014, 12:22 AM BSTDo they do the usual one as well as the Edinburgh show?
Yes they do.
Week 1 (London) credits are out, but I can't cut and paste them from my tablet. Week 2 (London) and week 1 (Edinburgh) are due soon too according to their email.
