Tiscali are arseholes

Apparently they don't give a toss if I leave them for BT.

I've had so much reception trouble with my broadband over the last couple of weeks. Basically it died on Sunday. The engineer came and replaced my box (!) with a second hand so I'm living on borrowed time!

And we're the ones being f**ked!

Go with BT. Can't complain about my experience with them. If you go with Virgin Media, on the other hand, then you really shouldn't have access to a computer.

I'm with BT the blood sucking vermin, slow speeds, fair usage policy keep fining me every month, getting through to customer services is a skill I've put on my CV its a f**king nightmare. saying that, its alot easier having phone and internet on one direct debit.

There is no such thing as a good ISP. Been with quite a few, and they are all useless to some degree.

We've had a good year with Tiscali so there.

You spend about 10 minutes trying to talk to someone and then no-one can make a decision.

Is it the same for every company though?

No! Virgin take much longer. I've lost my phoneline twice in three weeks. The first time i spent nearly three hours in total on the mobile and didn't get to speak to anyone. After countless emails, they sent an engineer to fix the problem. Bloody thing went dead again on Monday! Angry

BT have the absolute worst customer service known to man. It used to take at least 20 minutes for someone to answer my call.

I ended my service with them a couple years ago and switched to OneTel. But a few months back I got a bit bored with them and decided to change provider again. So I called them up and said I wanted to cancel. I was paying £25 a month, and they tried to talk me out of leaving by lowering it to £18 a month. I said no. Then they offered it for £10 a month. I accepted. :D
