Your thoughts about the BNP
"I think they're ace."
The Daily Mail, yesterday.

British Nudist Party? They get my vote!
Seriously, I personally don't want to get into a discussion on this because I can see both sides of the argument. I do think the race thing has gone beyond blacks and whites because immigration has gone mad from Eastern Europe. The BNP now is probably re-inventing itself accordingly and could gain support in the long run which could be dangerous.
Are you a member, frosty?
I think they're hypocrites considering they sponsor the French Open
I'll end up going off on one, but to keep it short, they're c**ts.
Ditto.

Personally, I think that with the polarisation of the masses by exploitative extremist groups on opposite ends of the political spectrum, the support for such groups will grow. This is not a good thing, imo, but it is an often recorded phenomenum when an unmotivated centre bloc fails to respond to urgent social tensions.

Wha wha what???
Can you guide me through this one Slags with some pictures and/or interactive puzzles?
Bastards the lot of them. Just people who feel 'threatend' because England is becoming multicultural. Multiculture is a good thing in my opinion. If the BNP had it there way, we wouldn't move on as a society and would be living in cages.

He's saying when people are worried about something which is in the media a lot people tend to go to a slightly more extreme view - I.E the BNP because a lot of people are coming here "Taking our jobs"
I hope I'm right You're hard to understand Slag
Bloody nice try though Paul.
Paul's right. Sorry.
I just mean that with a 'hot' issue that has potential to polarise society into extreme 'for' or 'against' (such as immigration), the centre's lax attitude to the pressures people experience will drive those people into groups that exploit and even actively heighten those fears and tensions. For example, racial tension within a city serves both the interests of Muslim extremism and the BNP. Both are opposites at many levels but they have common ground. It is in both groups' interests to create or preserve unease.
Fear and tension is one of the left-wing and right-wing thugs' best weapon, made more powerful by the centre's seeming unwillingness to tackle such sensitive issues.
Multiculturalism is good but the problem with it is that instead of allowing people to follow their own traditions there often "seems" to be a negative side which is determined to strip away the original culture that existed in these islands.
I'm saying 'seems' because if someone percieves a thing (even if it doesn't exist) then to that person the perception is the same as if it existed in reality. (A stupid example: someone sees a mirage in a desert. It doesn't exist in reality but it still exists as reality to that person who sees it).
Plus the immediate problem with multiculturalism for the masses is that it isn't 'seen' as a two-way street. I don't think many people can imagine the UK citizens in Saudi insisting that they have the right to follow their own traditions?
That is the fatal flaw with multiculturalism, it's a policy meant to ease tension but it's easily exploited to increase tension.
Cheers for that slags. Of course i knew that's what you meant all along. >_<
