May I humbly suggest that instead of us all jumping on our high horse and coming over all Mary whitehouse, we just stick a warning on the thread:
"Who do you fancy?" (WARNING: This thread may contain offensive/graphic/arousing images).
That way if anyone visits and gets an eyeful of something they don't want an eyeful of, it's their own fault for visiting.

I was reading today about the paper bags now being placed on Nuts in the Co-op etc. The reasons given are clear and I fully accept them. Personally, I wouldn't advocate them and I wouldn't oppose them either without an opinion poll. It is the same old knee-jerk reaction as on smoking and other matters of panic.
It's taking place at the same time as internet changes which most would probably support. The astute observer might make a link between the two. It is that Nuts etc have to be made MORE alluring so as to compensate. That's done by making them LESS accessible. This is what's really happening in my opinion.
I have a less of a problem with the airbrushed soft porn images of soap starlets than I did with the vile comments that used to be directed at any picture posted in the thread of a woman who did not match that image.
What I like about this thread, when it works properly, is what it tells us about the diversity of human attraction, and about the posters themselves. For instance I think it has told us quite a bit about g.roper; fortunately, I doubt he gets out much.
