Shandonbelle, try emptying your browser's cache or turning off your ad blocker - that could be the culprit. If you are using a version of Internet Explorer it seems you can turn off animations (it's an animated gif). From a quick Google:
"Select tools / internet options / advanced
Then scroll down in the scroll window to:
Play animations in webpage
Check the box.
You have to restart IE for it to take effect."
It never ceases to amaze me how poor some people's browsing experiences are - especially IE users and AOL derivatives.
