Who is this Gus Van Sant fellow and why is he so special an ingredient to have in a film...?

He's just a director.
I like lots of his films. :) And one of his novels, that he wrote about River P. (He was in love with him. Like me. :))

Not all of his films are great though.

Is that true? Interesting.

He tends to make quite high brow films; by which I mean dull.

No! I loved the way it looked. It was beautiful.

So is the Sun, but you shouldn't look directly at it.

While 'clever people' sit through two hours of tedium and pretend it was really 'deep'. BURN! I now own you.

Haha!

Good Will Hunting isn't tedious!!

Oh wait, yes it is.

I liked that.

I liked that.

Oh really? Well how'd you like them apples.

(me too)

:)

I'm surprised Affleck and Damon haven't written more together, seeing as how they won an Oscar and everything.

I don't remember there being apples in it. *channels Mr Chapman* Was it a side story or part of the films core?
