When I was a teenager I worked at Tesco. The security guard there used bang on about how his dog was once in an episode of Wycliffe. He thought people would find this impressive in some way.

I think you'll find it's Sarah Hadland, not Hadley.

I'm pretty sure Sarah Hadley was the lead singer of Spandau Ballet.

Stop getting Bond wrong!

The one in the bandages I'm pretty sure was Emily Mortimer's friend Dolly Wells.

I'm so glad you're back Doug!

PS - my former colleague's wife's cousin is none other than .... Tony Hadley. If that's not a lame to fame, I don't know what is?

Tony Hadley.

The poor man's Bryan Ferry.

The poor man's Bryan Ferry.

I know this much is true.

:D

The poor man's Bryan Ferry.

But is Bryan Ferry a poor man's Billy Fury?

If I bought a baby hamster then I'd be tempted to call him Billy Furry.

Great film, as was the computer game for the Commodore 64 that my son and I finally completed in the late 80s.

I think you can get it on an emulator (?) I can ask my (now 40!!) son if you would like - great game actually and very advanced for it's time.

Yay! Saying that, qv with my thread on the 'recreated' ZX Spectrum I bought, couldn't used and duly returned.

That makes me want to play the Minder game.
