Hi all,
I'm a newish comedy writer (I've been writing for 6 months does that make new and green, or bitter and unsuccesfuul?)
I write for News Revue, Treason Show, and the Wireless Theatre (they have episode one Funny Old Business), which looks like it's going to come out a rate of one episode a year, like the Queen's Speach but less funny).
Like most writers I have a stack of unproduced sitcom pilots festering in my very own slush pile (one's a tribute to UK scifi of the 70s and 80s Gawd bless it, another is based on my experience running a care home, going admit that is atleast an intriguingly bad idea for a sitcom).
I am also very keen to colabarate as I am pretty good at writing gags in a vacum, but am a bit sucky at fully developed characters, plots, human interest basically anything without a punchline. But I write more punchlines than Tyson doing coke.
So look forward to writing with you over the coing weeks, months, and years .
Best regards Joel
