I'm drinking right now....well just a beer really and perhaps one more when this one is done.
Things I don't get? I don't 'get' the entertainment value of watching sports. I love playing sports but watching sports for fun (unless it's team Canada vs some other country) just baffles me. Specifically being a fan of a city's team that you don't actually reside in. What are you cheering for then? The business itself? Because that's all it is then right? Well I suppose that proves how little I get about that topic.
I also don't 'get' the attraction to video games that are more story then game play like Metal Gear Solid for example. I buy games to play, and books and movies to get a story out of. Mixing game play with heavy doses of story just isn't my cup of tea.
Oh yea...and Hummers I don't get the attraction of driving around in something that big when you aren't planning on driving it in the bush. I'm originally from a small mining town in northern Ontario and my neighbor had purchased a used Hummer from the military and used it in the bush to get to his camp, collect wood and do outdoorsy kinds of things. I now live in Ottawa were people drive these cheap versions of the military versions and they don't look like they have ever seen a dirt trail let alone no road at all. So yea...I don't get why anyone would spend that much money for such a useless toy.
