British Comedy Guide

Hello everyone!

Hi all, sorry it's taken so long to introduce myself! I'm not actually new here, I've been around for a while but just sort of realised that I hadn't introduced myself properly which was very rude ;) Anyway, as for me I like all sorts of stuff and generally just enjoy seeing what other people are saying about new and returning sitcoms. I do especially like Extras, Lead Balloon, The Thin Blue Line, The Detectives, Drop the Dead Donkey, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Frasier and most of Armando Iannucci's stuff!(particularly Alan Partridge...)

Look forward to chatting to you all :D

Welcome to the introduction forum.

Was he Ianucci's? I didn't know that I always thought he was Coogan's own :O

A very warm welcome.

Welcome Tim. Are you?

Thanks for all the welcomes guys! What a friendly bunch of peeps :D

I also forgot to mention Father Ted, Black Books and The IT Crowd. All firm favourites indeed. (although I'd have to say Father Ted holds a very special place in my collection, always will :))

Yeh you're right, Partridge was Coogan's really, but Iannucci produced and wrote a lot of material for it so I count it amongst his portfolio as well as Coogan's :)
