Jamey I don't have kids to pick up! I am a terrible sleeper, wish I could do the normal 8 hrs. I seem to cope OK with my measly 4 hrs, no point worrying!
Hmmm I wonder where I got that impression, sorry anyway.
Although you say the sleep thing as if it is a disadvantage.

In my eyes, yes, but they are turning into young gentleman cats before my very eyes. But even I can't ignore the massive nut sacks they're prone to shoving in my face.
The vet actually said they were the biggest he'd ever seen on our last visit.
Do they actually cut the balls off, or do they just shrivel up?
I don't know that I've ever actually seen nuts on a cat. (Seen plenty on dogs, can't miss 'em.)
Wikipedia says it is removal. I'm sure it dosen't hurt when they are under anesthetic, but still, ouch.
Did you have another cat before getting two kittens or did you just decide to start getting cats recently?
I had cats when I was young, but only got these guys about 3 months ago.
So I don't know too much about them, but I've never seen balls as big as theirs on other cats so removal makes sense.
The biggest problem is having to not feed them from 8 tonight, I won't get a minute's sleep.
Can't you just keep them in other parts of the house?
