Despite owning cats for pretty much all of my life and now being the proud owner of Tortoiseshell Tilly (aged 14-15) and Black and White Sophie (8 months), I'd never heard of the term 'tortitude' to explain quite why torties are so fiesty and talkative. That explains a great deal about the personality of my eldest (moggie).
