Think about getting an older rescue cat. Everybody picks the cute kittens and the older cats get left on the shelf, eventually dying in a tiny cage instead of a home.

Finally, a shread of humanity. Get a backbone! Pick the young cute kittens. They'll last longer and they're easier to off load when you're board with them.

We was going to get a three-legged cat but it doesn't mix well with others and she wants more than one. I think she's aiming for three. I'm guess we're going to get an old one and two middle-aged ones? I don't know yet?
Aww. Well let us know what you get. And we will be needing pictures.
The only reason I want to get them is to create LOLcat memes.
I've got a three legged one. He's very easy to knock over.
I believe this is where we're looking to get them from - http://www.northampton.cats.org.uk/
Suggestions welcome.

Damn, I missed out on that fun.
My suggestion: get short-haired cats unless you like cleaning up barf on a weekly basis. Although with 3 cats you're likely to do that anyway.
Deffo getting short-haired cats. I'm gritting my teeth in preparation for any hair ready to be littered all over my clothes/food/life.
Aw, they only have 6 on their site at the moment. GET ALL OF THEM.
We only have three food bowls/dishes.
Bowls or dishes?
Bowls, I would say.
I bet you would![/falseinnuendo]
