;)

Any writers who've been reading about this event and wavering over whether or not to go... if seeing me and Aaron apparently holding hands isn't enough to get you along, here's something which should definitely tempt you to stick the 12th Feb in your diary and get your ticket request in ASAP:

Apparently at the end of the discussion there's going to be a mini-pitching opportunity. From what I understand, for a bit of fun at the end, members of the audience will be given 30 seconds to pitch a sitcom idea to the panel and then get feedback on it.

OK, it's not going to be a make or break career pitch for you - but it is a chance to get feedback on your idea from some of the top people in the industry, most notably BBC1's Lucy Lumsden - the woman in control of the biggest comedy commissioning budget in this country.

See you there!

I'm so glad you posted this as I had it in my head that this was on the 11th. I will be just a few streets away at a work event which finishes an hour before it starts so I have to go now! I'll see any BSG-ers there! :)

OK, this event is less than a week away now so, if you haven't already, do get that cheque sent off!

London is obviously a bit far to come for some of you, it'd be a shame if you completely missed out though... If you've got any questions you want to put to the panel please post them here (or PM them to me) and I'll see if I can get them answered.

Hopefully the other BSG'ers there can help me remember what the answers were and post some of them here afterwards.

I would of loved to of gone to this but am in the same dilemma as PaulW (and at the same gig I think).

This is tomorrow... if you want to go but don't yet have a ticket, from what I understand it's not yet too late... phone 0207 833 0777 to get your name added to the list and you can then pay on the door (I think, ask them).
