Has anyone else got any of Ronnie's wonderful books of picture postcards and assorted other Victorian and Edwardian illustrated smut?
I think I've managed to get them all, and they're fascinating collections of humour with a real focus on the kind of mainstream, working class-appeal, slightly naughty comedy sensibility that underpins the most enduringly popular comedy to this day. Really interesting historical insights.
