INT. THE CRUCIBLE THEATRE

BY THE SIDE OF A SNOOKER TABLE, A PLAYER CHALKS HIS CUE WHILE
SCANNING THE BALLS FOR HIS NEXT SHOT.
IN THE BACKGROUND, BEHIND A 'WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP' BARRIER, THE
CROWD SITS IN SILENT ANTICIPATION.

SUDDENLY THE ENTRANCE DOORS CREAK OPEN AND BANG SHUT AS, OFF
CAMERA, A MAN ENTERS THE THEATRE.

MAN (V.0):
Yeah, that's fine, darlin'. Just fetch us a Carling.

THE CROWD MURMERS AS THE MAN GALLOPS DOWN THE STAIRS UP TO THE
TABLE.
AS THE PLAYER WATCHES OPEN-MOUTHED, THE MAN PUTS 50P ON THE CUSHION.

MAN:
Cheers, pal. Just take your time, no worries.

THE MAN SCRATCHES HIS ARSE THEN WALKS AWAY

I had to read it twice cause I'm a dumb blonde...but hahaha!

Also, cushion is spelt wrong. :)

Hi bushbaby :)

It's just a silly joke, don't worry about it.
The idea was a championship snooker match being
interupted by someone putting 50p on the table (as people
do when waiting for a game of pool in a pub etc.)

Had to read it twice as well, and I'm not blonde :S

Yeah I liked it, I must admit sounds like it could be a good John Smiths advert, but without Peter Kay in it.

Ah, I see....I don't know anything about snooker/pool

I got this sketch and I liked this sketch a lot. It would be great as a john smith advert.

Yes good sketch-vert. Oh and I got it too. Does that mean I have a finely honed comedy brain?

180! Bah wrong game. I mean 147

Nice sketch. Definitely lends itself to an advert.
