Man, Version 2 Page 2

he could still have black and white and just the blood can be red

Actually forgot to comment on the sketch, yeah I reckon if you make it, it'll be a fine sketch, I can't quite see it as of yet, but there is potential there.

Nice & grizzly Wooo! I do like a bit of blood & gore. Would make a cracking bedtime video for small children. Say around the age of 4 months +. Market it for small children whose parents leave them alone a lot. Send a copy to the McCann's.

Now with added video!

Really like it, David. Top-notch writing, class animation.

I liked the sketch, but I didn't get the joke.

It's surreal, but in a way that's got so few reference points I couldn't relate to it.

I mean why is a beer company mutilating some one, and why doesn't he die?

How ever much you ask people to suspend disbelief you have to have some point they can relate to.

I don't mind the not dying thing. He appears to at the end, anyway. Though I agree, the fact it was a beer company add was a touch confusing.

Then again, it's more obviously relevant than most contemporary alcohol advertisements.

You couldn't have said all that before Kerry spent 8 months of his life animating the thing! Damn your spine, Sootyj!

The 'point' was that the beer company is aiming to create the perfect drinking man and ending up with a slobbering wreck. How many people got that? I'm starting to think not many. I wondering if some dialogue alterations are needed...

Hmm yes, becuase that's a really good idea that doesn't come over.

Rather like the old ideal smoker adverts.

There were such things?

Yeah, that's basically what I'm going for - only my version turns out to be sponsored by a brewery.

Maybe I'll go back and dub some new dialogue on there. Cheers for the feedback.

Perhaps you could just directly introduce the concept of a "perfect drinking man". Easily done?

That's pretty much what I'm thinking.

Hobo-cop?
