Formatting advice, please.

Since joining BSG I haven't written anyting longer than a few pages so messing around with formatting hasn't been a prob.
However, I have just started something (lame duck) which I intend to be about an hour long.
I've never seen work submitted on BSG in the wide margined script style and I don't believe that they'll look at it in the style that we submit it so how do I do both?
I don't want to write it all out twice (once for us and once for them) for every rewrite or change that I make. Does this make any sense, as I'm a bit of twerp, sometimes?!!!!

:$

Get yourself a copy of Movie Magic Screenwriter 6 or Final Draft. They'll do it all for you.

Not cheap, but a worthwhile investment if you're serious about writing scripts.

www.celtx.com - It's free.

;) cheers for that, folks. Are they broadly similar? Are they reasonably easy to use :S :$
Thanks, I'll 'ave a look.

ps. I like the sound of free!! Laughing out loud

I think the reason the work is never formatted on here is because it's copy and pasted from proper writing programs / templates and doesn't translate onto the forum.

I might be wrong though.

I've never used celtx and have just downloaded it. Is it as good as it looks?

I've just done that, too!

I've used Celtx, it's not bad, but it's annoying when you're trying to convert back into say a word file... but they have a lot of support on their forums.

that looks top!!!

Ah well, I didn't need that £200 anyway

:O(

After using Celtx for over a year I tried Finaldraft and found I prefer Celtx!!!

The only problem is the lack of a page break feature.

I used Celtx for a while, but got sick of it and returned to formatting it myself in Word.
