Ken Dodd

I've finally done it! I have tickets for Ken Dodd at the Stockport Plaza on March 15th. I think it's something everyone has to do if they love comedy.
He's the last of the great music hall comedians, and in my opinion, one of the very greatest to ever grace a stage.
The knighthood's long overdue!

What do you guys and gals think?

Take sandwiches and a flask!

Have a great night.

I'm well prepared for it! I've got £100 for the car park meter!

What else you selling?

Couple 'o' chairs, fiver each, half a dozen kerb stones for twenty nicker, and a fez for two pound fifty.

Yeah, I suppose he is one of the few 'greats' who is still performing. I've never been a huge fan, but I have seen a few funny pieces by him.

See other posts, but it was a superb night.

Really interesting, I do recommend a listen. (Currently on iPlayer.)

Ken Dodd got married yesterday.

I am disappointed.

I assumed this thread meant he was dead.

Ken Dodd got married yesterday.

Obviously nobody's responding. It is one that often works in conversation- 'Ken Dodd got married yesterday.'
'Did he?'
'No, Doddy.'

But obviously I didn't get the chance of that piece of comic gold on this forum.

Not cool, sooty. Not cool.
