Unhappy Snaps

So, this is what's become of Friday night?

Great - looney, but great. Laughing out loud Well done.

You are truly insane! I love it!

Ha, ha, you're barking mad! A good actor though.

and they said the camera never lied.......nice idea. always look forward to your work Mr B.

another execution - a camp photographer saying 'make love to the camera baby'. you get closer and closer (seen as if through the camera lens) using a series of stills (stop motion styley). once close enough you try to lick the camera with the photographer pulling a hissy fit. maybe introduce a talking camera in a young ones sort of way.

anyway yada yada. i'm about to attempt green screening objects such as talking cameras and overlay on moving footage. Hopefully in a couple of months will be able to produce that sort of stuff. probably look shit but shit can sometimes be good in comedy right....i'll stop yadering now.

Mr Bussell, your comic acting is definitely the best that I have seen on this board. Were you ever a drama student and do you intend to perform your own material when you get comissioned?

When I see shit like Little Miss Jocelyn and I watch something as good as that I get very very very pissed off! In a good way.

Thanks a bunch, guys.

I was worried the creepiness might have edged in front of the comedy on this one, so I'm happy to hear it scored some laughs.

As for the performance comments, I have to admit astonishment. I'd have thought it painfully obvious that I don't have acting chops. It's only that I'm able to choose from thirty or forty takes that I'm comfortable doing anything in front of a camera. I certainly couldn't perform in front of a crew. Not yet at least.

Looking forward to seeing that sketch, Mr Rivers. Green screen is a lot of fun. I'm going to be shooting some today for that Comedy Box commission. It's going to be a long time in the edit suite, but if it goes right it ought to pack some punch.

Nice sketch, David. I liked the darkness of it.

PM and let me know how CB went. :)

There's a co-inkydink, I just did that very thing.

Yeah weird, but good... and I'm generally not into dark comedy either so err... Well done?

Yes, I liked it too. Not my favourite (but delightfully odd all the same) and yes, I still have to admit bemusement at Little Miss Jocelyn et al making it to our screens. All who you know etc.

You are f**king insane. In a great way.

I liked it mate - well done :)
Liked the random snap right at the end.

Not sure why everyone's saying you're insane though? 'Be a comic actor but try to be as normal as possible' just wouldn't really work would it?

Its good to be different. Jim Carrey is insane. Its a compliment I think youl find!
