Probably pointing out the irony of being ironic, and displaying that ironicocity ... through dance!
Or maybe not.

Ta!
Maybe after you've just pressed your shirts.
How about this for ironic.
As I was walking home there was a muslim woman riding a bicycle up the hill in front of me. She had a head scarf to stop men learing at her yet she had really tight trousers on and was standing up on the bike to get up the hill, so I got an eyeful???????
Crazyness.
I think you look for those kind of ironies Adam, with binoculars.

I wish I could see her ironies. But the scarf worked I was definantly not lusting after anything from the neck up

Irony:
There are a number of definitions for "ironic" and I think the examples in the song generally fill this definition:
Coincidental; unexpected: It was ironic that I was seated next to my ex-husband at the dinner. (Dictionary.com)
This one's a better definition of this brand of irony:
Characterized by often poignant difference or incongruity between what is expected and what actually is; "madness, an ironic fate for such a clear thinker"; "it was ironical that the well-planned scheme failed so completely" (Dictionary.com)
Whether it's through shifting use or not, I think the examples in the song are valid and I love the fact that as soon as irony is mentioned all the smart-arses chime in with "Ahhhhhhhh "Ironic", what a dumb song, it's not bloody irony, is it?! Bloody Morissette. It's just bad luck."
Well, I'd say all the examples show "difference or incongruity between what is expected and what actually is." So there! I don't know about being post-ironic but I'm being post-smartarse.
