Racial insults & abuse should not be tolerated in any circumstance. However again this is generalizing & was not mentioned on your first ever post.
Squaddies are banned from many of the towns around their base. They nick all the women apparently. Like they are'nt willing to go.
It is true that squaddies & civvies dont mix to well. This is a fault of them both. My son has so far dealt with being spat on by a muslim & punched in the back of the head by a white prat in a pub who saw his ID card whilst he brought a drink. Now my son will not retaliate because it will be his neck on the block.
I have brought my sons up to be normal law abiding citizens. They are not racist or sexist in any way atall. It is a parents duty to install moral grounding & conduct. I blame the parents for those without any.These lads are so young & impresionable when they go in. I am so lucky I convinced my son to wait a few years. 21 is a much better age. Oh & Mark yes they do recruit these lads from secondary school. They specificaly aim for the poorer schools too.

I saw some squaddies having a relatively quiet pint but they left the pub when a couple of blokes picked on them. I got the impression that the squaddies left because they didn't want any trouble rather than that they couldn't have handled the two oiks. My sympathies were firmly with the army on that occasion!
Yeah thats true Frankie. They have a huge fear of the old Military Police. They are a whole different league.
I've never had a problem with any of the members of the armed forces that I have met or seen but then again they don't know my views on the monarchy
