Way to go.

Way to go.

SCENE ONE. INT. CAR. DAY.

TWO MEN ARE TRAVELLING ALONG A ROAD IN A CAR. THEY ARE PASSING A SCHOOL. OLDER CHILDREN ARE WALKING IN REVERSE TOWARDS THE SCHOOL GATE.

MAN 1. Did you see that?

MAN 2. What?

MAN 1. There’s another one. And another one. There are loads of them.

MAN 2. What’s that then?

MAN 1. Kids walking in reverse to that school. Look!

POINTS TO THE REVERSING CHILDREN AS THEY REVERSE INTO THE SCHOOL GATES.

MAN 2. Oh, yeah. It’s one of those special schools …. For the backward.

OK..I seen something along these lines before. Warning sign 'slow children'.

Is that Jimmy Carr?

I was driving past a school for kids with learning difficulties the other day and I saw a sign saying 'slow children'. I thought that's a bit harsh isn't it.

Or something like that.

Not sure if it was Jimmy Carr, but seeing as it involved driving it prob was.

It is Jimmy Carr, but it's not the same joke at all.

Yeah, the sketch is a different joke definitely. Not sure of my opinion on it yet though, I'll have to come back to it tomorrow.

I liked the sketch. Not really the same as Jimmy Carrs. For one thing you didn't steal it off someone Laughing out loud Whistling nnocently

Jimmy Carr's lawyers have instructed me to point out that he does not steal jokes or at least hasn't been caught yet.

Marion

Liked the sketch as it's executed well, short and sweet with no chaff.

Only thing is: does anybody use the term 'backward' anymore? :)

:$ Errrr..... I do!!! Plus the sketch doesn't work otherwise so I am now re-installing it as part of modern day speach!

Thanks a lot for the comments. It was just a bit of daftness that came to me.
Laughing out loud
Ps. Obviously everyone knows something about Jimmy Carr that I don't know (I'm not a fan). Has he been nicking peoples jokes or said that he's have been pinched?
:O
