Best Doctor Who David Tennant

Really???

Have you seen William Hartnell? Patrick Troughton? Jon Pertwee? or Tom Baker?

Even if he has seen those Doctors it's a perfectly reasonable opinion. :)
Especially Hartnell and Troughton. They weren't for me at all.

Think it's more to do with.the quality of the programme.

I liked Tennant at first but his constant extreme facial expressions got old fast. Unfortunately all the Doctors since the reboot seem to have the same problem, of having to be constantly manic. You never had that trouble with Pertwee.

I don't know that Matt Smith has particularly manic facial expressions?

Tennant certainly did, which did sometimes even annoy me.

Not so much facial expressions, no. He is pretty manic in general though.

I have always felt "less is more". None of the NuWho Doctors, and some villains have given a subtle performance.

Oh, Troughton was great! He's the template all the rest have built from since.

He's good, I can see why people like him. I just find him weirdly creepy and unnerving.

zooo I agree with you. I Liked Colin Baker and McCoy

So,according to you, the bigger the budget, the better the show?

That is sad, so sad!

Watch some Pertwee, for Christs sake!

But in a way the doctor is a supremely creepy character. He's this nine hundred year old dilettante who breezes around the galaxy with attractive young women young enough to be his great great (etc) granddaughter.

Well. I found Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy creepy too. And Tom Baker. But they did it in a non paedo way.

(No offence, Mr. Troughton. I'm sure you were lovely in real life.)

Bit like you Chip, except he saves the universe.

What's your excuse?
