For the lovely Zooo

I hope that doesn't mean he's neglecting his post-Who career.

If that nasal-voiced, whiny Welsh psychopath wasn't in it, I might be seeing that film right now.

Probably lucky for me that she is.

Sorry if this is a repost/old news

Apparently there will be a new Tardis interior, new costume for The Doctor, new theme and opening titles, as well as, of course, a new companion. Lots of tweaks going on as it goes into its 50th anniversary.

Am definitely in favour of a new Tardis interior. And the rest actually. Although hope they don't make his costume boring. (Eccleston's was shite.)

I've seen the outfit he's wearing at Christmas, and the one he'll be in for the series proper, and it's still old-fashioned clothes.

So yet another Victorian Doctor Who Christmas.

On the plus side -

Richard E. Grant
New Companion

On the negative -

Companion snogging Doctor
Killer Snowmen

However, it's biggest advantage is that there won't be Amy Pond to piss on everyone's Christmas.

Snow men look good though

however wafts of Christmassy soft focus bollox like last year so not so good.

Hey, you already moaned about that part!

Phew!

I'm sure she puts that voice on just for attention. It might have been cute when she was younger, but now it's just embarrassing.

Plus every review says The Nativity 2 is the biggest pile of steaming dog turds evers.

It's just that I have to suspend disbelief over a villain made of frikkin' snow. When your chief antagonist can be killed by three kids from the local estate, then you are onto a loser.

Justifiably so, unfortunately.

I think it's only, technically, the second one set in that time though. There was the Cybermen one, now this. Of course, the Christmas Carol one had a lot of the trappings, though was set on another planet. So two and a half.

your chief antagonist

Well... let's wait and see...

I'm not getting into this with you again Matthew. When I imagine alien planets, I don't automatically think Victorian Christmas. You might think it's a clever twist, I just think it's lazy and predictable.

Sorry, I should have said chief monster and not antagonist.

The Christmas episodes have traditionally been a bit lame. Lamer even than the normal episodes. But that's probably got a lot to do with the fact that it's teatime on Christmas Day so they can't risk doing anything too scary or interesting. Plus the Doctor will still be moping over Pond, which will be dull.
