Doctor Who... Page 903

Gaiman has said he wants them to be silent and scary; so you turn around and they're just there. Hopefully this means no more stomping about in as loud a manner as possible. And hopefully no more 'DELETE'.

That would be far more effective

I remember the Cybermen always being intriguingly, nasty. Something about them being, low rent space gypos, mixed with them sort of wanting to help humanity. And being quite cruel.

Where as the Daleks were always psycho, Nazi bastards.

I think Gaiman could give them the edge.

I mean the idea that the guy who wrote "A Game of you" and Corraline is getting his hands on them is really exciting.

Sounds good to me, as long as its not tied up with some Moffat story arc that balls the whole thing up!

Neil Gaiman is a much bigger man than Moffat, I doubt he'll mess.

The Daughters Wife was an very average story! Anyone could have written it. The FACT that Neil Gaimen wrote it, means nothing. If anyone else had witten it, it would have been reviewed as a joke.
We dd not need to know that TARDIS is a living being!
We did not need to know that the TARDIS chose the Doctor.

It was always a mystery IF TARDIS was a living being!
The Doctor stole TARDIS when it had a faulty chameleon circuit!

Please, Moffat and Gaiman, STOP changing Doctor Who history!!!!!!

You both look foolish when you do it!

Some people liked it; that's okay.

Verrrry glad to hear they're changing the cybermen.

I must say I quite liked that one :)

Why?

What was your review of it?

Nope it's been referenced through out Who history that it's living and chose him.

But that wasn't the point.

The problem is to even consider discussing this with you means trying to explain why it's one of the most sublime episodes.

With some one who rates attack of the Space Croutons more highly. A good natured bit of scifi tosh akin to a passable episode of Blake 7 or Buck Rogers.

Thats up with trying to explain particle physics to someone from the Dark Ages.

You really don't have a clue, do you?

There was mystery with Doctor Who, and the very being of TARDIS.
Now, there is no mystery!

I feel so sad for viewers who have no imagination, these days, and prefer DW stories with no subtlety!

Why... did you quote your own post twice, within the post itself?

And you have I suspect been watching Eldorado and mistaking it for Dr WHo,

Perhaps one of its greatest charms and greatest weaknesses is there is no show bible. With ST Voyager the script writer would only write about 2 thirds of the script before handing it over to the Trek Bible experts who would write the other third.

And that maybe why it was such a stinker.

Who the Tardis has been alive, a vehicle, the inside of a loony bin there is no bible. The closest there ever was to a consistent Who bible was the Virgin New Adventure books.

Actually wanting a consistent Who bible is akin to wanting cellulite and pubes in a porn film.
