Disappointed to see Amy is still in it (I like Rory, but as he's stuck to Amy like glue I can live without him) - I thought we'd had the big farewell (but do pop in for tea) with those two? Bleh.

They're in it for the first few stories, then gone by Christmas.

Mistake?
Because Doctor Who is so centered around fake schmaltzy emotions, the producers probably figured they could get not one, but two tearful farewells from them. The cynical scum whores.

I don't think the show is really for you anymore, is it? Reduce your bile level by watching things you like!

That's the problem. I love sci-fi, I loved the old Doctor Whos, I think the production values on the new Who are great, I even like the music - I want this show to be good and yet the writers / producers seem to be going out their way to make me not like it.
What else am I going to watch on an early Saturday evening before I head out to the pub? The Voice?!

Defo. Sir Tom's face when he saw two of his selections was worth whatever the Beeb have paid him.
The Face of Boe (tox)

Haven't you realised yet, some of us enjoy moaning about Dr Who! If you don't like all the moaning, stop reading it (unless of course, you enjoy defending it).

Exactly. I'm sure there are Doctor Who specific forums where they gush all over the show (sometimes literally), but I like coming on here to discuss the merits of James Corden, robots full of tiny people and Titanic themed Christmas specials.
It's great!
You are sick, sick people.

Aparently the face of Boe is revealed to be the author of the last season.
And his surname is Lox.

What are your favourites?
I don't know what my favourites are, none have struck me as good enough to watch again (I have only seen since Chris Ecc though) but the two you have mentioned are, in my opinion, two of the worst episodes I have ever seen, I hated them.

Well said. I gave up watching the stupid pap that is Matt Smith/Moffatt Who a year ago and I now have a better job and my sex life has improved immensely.
