Doctor Who... Page 650

Mind you dr wh's gay agenda implys gayness is inhuman and alien

My first thought was that he was married to a man, but I really don't think that was it. An interracial marriage makes MUCH more sense. Maybe we'll meet her in the next one.

I assumed it was a gay reference. They've got a Gaiman writing this series haven't they?

*does a slow hand clap*

I said I was clueless! I have no idea what the FBI is except that they're Americans in sunglasses.

They combat terrorism, foreign spies, organized crime and other federal offences. I guess they're somewhat similar to MI5.

Inter-racial marriage only became legal in the US in '67.

Only in a handful of southern states.

Meanwhile I forgot mention how good it was to see Mark Sheppard in the episode. He's always great, especially in Battlestar Galactica.

And that older version of him at the start was his own Dad. Apparently they were going to use make-up to make him look old, and he said they should just get his Dad in.

Maybe he tried to marry a dead cat.

He might be a Mormon.

Partially. MI5 doesn't do regular policework like the FBI does, it's pretty much fully devoted to spooking.

I wasn't paying any attention at the start, so didn't realise that's who it was supposed to be an older version of. The younger version of himself was very good - although this does mean I've agreed with several things Griff has said recently. :O

I enjoyed it, will watch again but seemed pitched at an adult older child audience - which is fine by me. Ridiculous sense of non tension at the beginning though. No large feather required for anybody one assumes when the fourth invitee turned out to be... etc.

I knew I recognized the older guy's voice from somewhere, but only just figured it out. He's the voiceover from Civilization V.

God.......I couldn't decide who I wanted to have sex with more- Karen Gillan or Alex Kingston. I spent the whole show considering this.

Still not sure.

I wouldn't have thought they'd appeal to the same types of men.
