Very sad!

Very sad. His Brigadier was exactly how a military man should be.

Sad news indeed. I see he wrote two volumes of autobiography, the first being titled Five Rounds Rapid!

What an actor with a moustache?

What an actor with a moustache?

Him and his moustache seemed to embody decency.

Damn, that's a shame. I was hoping they'd bring him back somehow.

A terrible loss but there's always CGI

he looked very old in The Sara Jane Adventures

He was brought back for a couple of episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Perhaps RTD didn't want him in New Who, much like how Terrance Dicks has not been commissioned to write a script.

Hope he is enjoying the company of chaps with wings. No rapid fire.

Only just seen this news. RIP Brig. Five rounds rapid, etc.

Looks like stuff that was in The Lodger episode, such as the mysetrious empty Tardis, will feature next series:

RTD wouldn't have a clue what to do with the Brigadier. He would probably have had him snogging the Doctor, companion, or Doris.

*whispers* RTD doesn't make Dr Who.

Spotted these t-shirts in Forbidden Planet the other day.
