I don't find it menacing, but very dramatic. And now they've rubbished it a bit, without completely ruining it.

Maybe it was the accompanying tunnel imagery I found menacing? Like a giant space-time vagina.

Who to shoot a couple of episodes in America. (The Dalek one in America was actually shot over here)

From reading that, it seems that the opening story may also be a two parter for the first time.

Mmm. I never like it when British shows go to America. For a start the Americans never sound very American.

In the Dr.Who universe, the Peter Cushing movies are considered to be "films that were based on stories of the Doctor", not actually adventures of the real Doctor. There is a scene in a Dr.Who comic I once read where the Jon Pertwee doctor goes into a 1960s cinema to watch Peter Cushing acting out the Pinewood version of his own adventures, much as T.E.Lawrence might have enjoyed popping in to see Peter O'Toole in Lawrence Of Arabia.

He'd have a job since the real Lawrence died in 1935 and the film was released in 1962!

Didn't Lawrence kill himself cos the Turks fruited him up?

I did watch the Sarah Jane aadventures today.
Is Alexander Armstrong always the computer?

I also need to watch the one with David Tennant in at some stage.

How? it hasn't been on yet

Is there another timelord?

the class room assisstant?

Yep!

possible SPOILER ALERT (but only if you count trailers)

I saw the trailer for Sarah Jane, & LOLed at the vulture things which looked a bit like Rod Hull & Emu.

Oh, it's Matt Smith's episode today, isn't it? I think I may actually watch. I enjoyed the one which featured Tennant.

Trailer for Christmas Special, apparently it's not set on Earth, which would make a nice change if true:

Apparently Matthew Graham is writing a two parter for next year; hopefully it'll be a bit better than 'Fear Her' . . .

Saw it on telly. I think it looks great, from that.
