Pyramids is a classic. The scene in episode 1 where marcus scarman smokes the guy in the fez is terrifying; "I am the servant of Sutekh, he needs no other..." Robert Holmes is still the series' best writer.
Revenge of the cybermen is disappointing as an adult - one of the weakest Hinchcliffe stories - but I remember it fondly from it's transmission where the cybermats made me shit a brick.
Don't forget to check out Ark in Space and Talons of Weng Chiang - if you haven't already.

The City Of Death is another good Tom Baker one, and The Horror Of Fang Rock.

Really? I could hear everything fine.
Really enjoyed that, it might not be saying much, but the best Dalek episode since Dalek. If anything, again, it's a shame these things aren't longer, just so they could have stayed pretending to be goodies a little while longer, but that's a small complaint in a cracking episode.
Mmm. I'm still not as convinced as others by this series. I enjoyed tonights episode, but it wasn't anything we haven't seen countless times before. And I really wasn't impressed by the ceebeebies primary coloured Daleks. They didn't exactly inspire terror, but their voices were good. Oh, and Pondy stepping in to save the day is starting to feel a bit formulaic.
That was great I did an LOL on the first tea reference and another when the Dr said he was promised a cup.
This new series is ruddy ace anyone who disagrees is a gay Sea Devil.
And Pyramids of Mars is over rated (not least of all the rubbish sub Dungeons and Dragons traps)

It's only happened twice! And she was following his lead, as opposed to coming up with it all herself, like last weeks.
The new Daleks looked good and they actually got away properly this time.
And Pond saves the day as a groovy sort of human common sense alternative to the Dr.

Apart from the fact The Daleks won! That is completely new.

Yeah, it was The Doctor's idea, she just helped nudge it on a bit.

You knew they'd win. It's only episode three. I assume they're going to be wheeled out for the finale.

The pace was so good though, that maybe to much extra length would have detracted.
At least we were spared any mawkishness when that girl lost her chap over the Channel. RTD would have milked that for ages.
