Doctor Who... Page 422

I enjoyed the last 15 minutes, but I thought the stuff leading up to it was a bit ho-hum. The queen was quite sexy, mind. Oh, and nice to see Nick from The Apprentice branching out into acting.

:D

So remind me, what are they feeding this whale on? Adults? Oh that's OK then, what a nice whale.

They were feeding it on everything. And it was saving millions, so quite nice! :D It was there to save the children really, not the adults a such.

A good, weird episode, full of delights; but it felt like it didn't have enough time to breath, it needed a full hour really.

It also had quite an old school feel to it; more like a stroy you would have seen in the original series. Feels like I need to give that one another good watch.

Such an odd concept for a story! :D

Couldn't agree more, they didn't quite nail it for me. I loved seeing Matt Smith get angry though, that don't talk to me if you're human line gave me the spooks. A good solid episode, which I think may need another viewing to give it justice.

I found myself thinking of Neverwhere once or twice; which is a compliment.

That was good, yeah. :)

That was great! I loved that The Demon Headmaster was the villain type guy - it made it much scarier for me. :$ I also liked that the Doctor wavered a bit, and didn't get it all right for once. I spose I like the idea that he has to learn too, rather than getting high and mighty about stuff aaaall the time. I'm fed up that the fricking Daleks are back though. Again. Unimpressed

Enjoyed that. I like the Doctor getting angry. Nice to see the Demon Headmaster too. The whale reminded me of something out of Discworld.

However, it does seem like the effects budget has been cut. Errr

Edit: Wow! It's already no.1 on iPlayer, and "The Eleventh Hour," is no.5

To me the effects were better this episode than last, but it does seem that they've had less money to spend on them this series.

So why does The Doctor now adhere to the Prime Directive?

Has everyone seen this Demon Headmaster but me? Am I too old to have seen it?

So why does The Doctor now adhere to the Prime Directive?

What's that?

Oh wait, the non-intervention thing? He's said things like that before, I don't think you're not supposed to take his word for it, obviously it's not true! :D

It looked cheap but in a classic story heavy style. It was good I enjoyed it and the 2 of them are quite a team.

....

I love the new theme.
