Either way he's going to get plenty of tail, so I doubt he's bothered.

:/

She could spank me into next week.

Laughing out loud

Would this casting make Zooo happy . . ?

Meh. Could be worse. Could be better.

He was rumoured to be the next companion just before Catherine Tate was announced.
I was in favour of that.

I did wonder if Catherine Tate was going to be the Doctor. I wouldn't be surprised if there was still some mileage in the Doctor/Donna thing.

If it is her, I'm never watching it again. :)

Not because I hate her, but because that would be the f**king single most stupid thing they could do.

God, I bet they will, won't they...

F**k.

She must be feeling gutted. She's probably the only person who's had anything to do with Davies/Moffat/Who in any capacity whatsoever who hasn't been named as a possible.

Perhaps Dalek Caan will be the next Doctor.

RTD might have done, can't see the next guy in charge doing it.

True true. You're absolutely right.

I will continue to live in hope of a good choice, then.

Well Tennant is only 3 years off 40.

Still, I get his point.

Moffat is quoted as saying: "Although I loved Peter Davison and Paul McGann, probably the best two actors in the role

And um, what does he mean by that?
Laughing out loud

I expect it was just unfortunate phrasing, but still.

More wise words from Mr.Moffatt today re casting:

In an article appearing in The Sun, incoming showrunner Steven Moffat hints that the casting of the next Doctor could go to an older actor.

Moffat is quoted as saying: "Although I loved Peter Davison and Paul McGann, probably the best two actors in the role, I don't think young, dashing Doctors are right at all.

"He should be 40-plus and weird-looking — the kind of wacky grandfather kids know on sight to be secretly one of them."

Amen to that.

That's a quote taken from an interview he gave in 1999.

Haha!!!

Apparently this is a more recent quote from Moffat.

"The show is really tough for a superfit David Tennant so you might kill somebody who takes on the role in their 60s. For the Doctor to turn into an old man you'd be pissed off," he added.

"Even William Hartnell had trouble back then, he was often ill and he forgot his lines. I think the Doctor will always be about 40."

Totally and utterly randomly, I saw that Sky Movies ad earlier zooo. I love the song. Thiiink it may be on that album.

I thought it sounded the same kind of... sound!

Oh is it? Another fine piece of reporting by The Sun then!

Yep, Doctor Who Magazine re-printed an interview he gave in 1999, to compared it with answers he gave this year.

He's having a go at Marc P's daytime drama I think.

Did I mention Wednesday the 12th Nov?

Oooh, did you choose the title too? Hearts and Minds.

I hope someone has a heart operation!

Writer Marc Peirson.

It's quite exciting really.
I would so rip that page out of the Radio Times and keep it. Don't care how seasoned a writer I was.
