Doctor Who... Page 237

And Fathers Day or you may have watched one already. I can't remember the episode order.

If The Long Game beats working your job must really suck. Still, you've got a treat tomorrow with The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances.

You mean I have to remember the name of every episode? I was horrible at that when I was in a Star Trek phase in the seventies. :(

Yea I could never figure out how people did that. Remember titles of shows? I can barely remember the titles to my favorite songs!

Just saw this on Digital Spy:

Now, I have it on veeeeery good authority that the next Doctor has already been chosen. It's an interesting new direction, and the choice (assuming no changes of heart) will probably surprise - and divide - many. The name I've heard isn't Paterson Joseph. Or John Simm. Or James Nesbitt.

Hmm . . . intriguing . . .

OOooo. It's going to be me after all!

I've heard it's going to be Dave Spikey. Or Marcus F**king Brigstocke.

Interesting...

Haha.

If it's a woman I am retiring from Dr Who watching.

So it's not going to be a white adult male actor? A woman? A comedian? A child actor? Someone who's done it before?

Ha! A child actor. That would be rather amusing.

I would think they might be suggesting it's someone 50 plus.

I didn't see that his name was in the frame until yesterday but I'm quite warming to the idea of Paterson Joseph being the next Doctor.

A chimney sweeping Doctor. Awesome.

Aw.

I reckon they're going for a disabled.

Yes! Steven Hawking would make a fab Doctor!

It would be good having an older Doctor, with male & female companions to do the running around. At this point I'd like someone like Anthony Head. But I don't think so. Maybe a teenage actor? At one point people were mentioning Daniel Radcliffe.
