I don't know why they would even mention Saatchi. Who wants to think about that miserable old strangler? Especially in a fun article.
They should have just stuck with David Lynch.

Good point.
Did you make that out of lego?

Nice blog, Matt. Particularly like that McGann tweeted about one of the posts.
There's a billion and one Who blogs out there, so I've never kept up with any of them. I'll bookmark this one though and never consider the other billion.

Ta! I'm looking to interview a few people, too. Partially inspired by your own blog, looked a fun hobby to write about telly you liked. I've actually just picked up The Stone Tape after you featured it.

I guess people just really love Hitler and don't like to see him get pushed around.
He'd definitely win Celebrity Big Brother now. Say he was sorry for killing all those Jews and it was just how people were then. Yeah, we'd forgive him.

Was that the one where River Song was a black woman and something about poisoned lipstick and an android sent to kill Hitler for crimes he hadn't committed yet?
So if you mean amazing in the confusing, what the hell, this makes no fooking sense type of way, then yes, it was amazing.

Yeah, but I didn't say how can River Song being a black woman and something about poisoned lipstick and an android sent to kill Hitler for crimes he hadn't committed yet, not be amazing? Did I.

That's absolutely right, but it wasn't charming it was lumpen, stupid, witless and pointless.
TV writing in the UK is so impoverished most fans are like starving North Korean peasants being offered a shit sandwich and thanking the Dear Leader.
The thing that stands out for me from that awful episode, was River Songs gay Barmitzvah joke. Not only was it painfully predictable and poorly told. But it was so lumpen it slowed the clunky mess to a hault.
Rory punching Hitler was good, shame it last 15 seconds.
