Couple scenes. Too Much Of Nothing Page 2

No I definitely agree with you there.

I was just confused by you saying that you didn't understand how someone from Wales could understand Lancashire humour. Which would theoretically cut out quite a lot of your potential viewing figures, if you really believed it.

I know she lives not far from here. No new writer has that luxury, what's your point?
I just saying what is boring on the page can be extremely funny off and vice-versa

If you write something that's boring on the page, you won't get a meeting with a producer. Therefore you've got to write something to grab people's attention.

You can only take risks like that when you're established.

With this particular one Seefacts I had Andy harris head of comedy at ITV ringing me up to say it was good but too risque and had I anything else. I then received a nice letter from him.
As you know humour is subjective and one has to be lucky to come across an editor who gets the humour and can visualise it off the page.
There is virtually no chance of breaking into TV with a sitcom anyway but I've long since given up the ghost but like to come on here to be amongst other writers.

Yeah finding someone on the same wave length is vital, but hard.

But don't give up though, especially if you've had positive words from important people. That's just madness.
