I dont know why I am arguing with you the fact you think Father Ted "sucks", nice american word there, shows you obviously dont know what you are talking about.

Sounds reasonable.

Which comedians have come out and slagged America?

Reginald D. Hunter springs to mind.

Oh, and to support EMS, there's always been a 'fashion', if that's what you want to call it, of Brits "slagging off" American shows. But given the difference in culture and style, that's to be expected really.

Finished off my box set by watching this tonight - absolutely brilliant! And so moving in part.

Loved it, loved it, loved it

I watched it at the weekend and some of series last night. Just about to watch the one with Steve Spiers. The way Maggie and Andy are platonic friends and like partners in crime throughout the series and then their lives start going in different directions in the film makes the ending even more poignant. The use of Kate Bush - This Woman's Work really pulls at the heart strings.

One of my favourite lines is when Andy is approached by the casting agent in the restaurant.

"Who's your agent?"

"Darren Lamb"

"I've been in this business 15 years and never heard of him. Where's he from?"

"Bristol"
