We’re inviting aspiring film makers to submit a 60 second short film around the theme of 'unite'. The winning film will be featured during the BBC One coverage of the Orange British Academy Film Awards ceremony on 10 February 2008. And the regional winners will attend the ceremony, rubbing shoulders with some of the world's most famous actors, screenwriters and directors.
what you need to do
Shoot your 60 second film, and upload it to this site. BAFTA appointed juries of industry experts will then choose up to five films from each region. These will be showcased in our gallery, where the public can vote for their favourite. Winners from each of the 15 regions will attend the Orange British Academy Film Awards in 2008, and the overall winner will have their film featured during the Film Awards broadcast.
who can enter
If you're 16 or over and you've got access to film making equipment, you're in. You can submit your mini-masterpiece between 30 October 2007 and 4 January 2008. Good luck.
